African-American Contemporary Romance Guidelines
Word count: 40,000-65,000
We are looking for contemporary romance set in small towns, big cities, and anything in between. The main characters must be African-American and no younger than 25 as we are not looking for New Adult romance. While we prefer straight contemporary romance, we are not opposed to an element of suspense provided that it doesn't overtake the romance.
These stories should be third-person POV only and only include the main characters' POVs in separate scenes and/or chapters. We do not accept multiple points of view in one scene.
We are not looking for graphic violence, explicit sexual scenes, or extreme language. Though physical and emotional attraction is welcome, all love scenes must be closed door. Our books are G-rated much like A Christmas Tree Grows in Brooklyn and Christmas in Evergreen: Bells Are Ringing, though they do not have to be centered around a holiday.

All stories should have a Happy Ever After ending.
